Conference on leadership and entrepreneurship: bonds on two atypical routes: Armand Claude ABANDA and Gabriel DJANKOU Nkuissi

28 janvier 2020

This declaration was made during a conference organized in Yaoundé, on January 25, 2020, within the framework of activities related to the partnership between the African Institute of Computer Science (IAI) of Cameroon and the Higher Institute of Management of Manengouba (ISMAM) in Nkongsamba (Littoral region).

The former senior official of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in this reaction given at the end of the conference, as the actual promoter and Director of the ISMAM Institute.

“We are very happy to return this friendship and study visit that we very much wished to our partner institute IAI-Cameroon which had already done us the honour in 2018 to visit us in Nkongsamba. It is a highlight for our institution to live in reality the partnerships that we sign. It is also a highlight for our students who, for the most part, are discovering Yaoundé and IAI-Cameroon. The ISMAM-IAI partnership is a partnership that we want to win, which creates innovative things, which makes it possible to advance both students towards real entrepreneurship and personal success for the development of our country Cameroon. I told the students that to enter is to enter and to take. Everyone enters the world. And you have to take your share of the world’s cake. And for that, it is necessary to undertake. Entrepreneurship is the necessary path for personal success and for the development of our country. I convey to these young people the message of patience, a taste for effort, perseverance and above all to know that nothing is given. Young people today have the ease of wanting to arrive without having left and wanting to start where they arrive. We urged them to be patient and to patiently and healthily build the path that will lead them to real success.”

In order not to die poor, Gabriel Djankou Nkuissi asks the students « to undertake and turn their backs on the cult of the service number ». And to conclude: « You should never give up at the first difficulty … »
